Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a neat, off-white head. Intense and fat malty nose with quite some Munich thrown in. Medium body, sweet and bready yet never cloying with sufficient hops for balance. Clean and uncomplicated. 141124

Tap at Logan's Irish Bar in the city of Konstanz. Dark clear golden with a head. Full-bodied, not quite feeling its strength in taste. There's also a nice hopped smoothness about it. Good sugars in here too.

Wee bottle, danke Günther! Clear amber, low offwhite head. Juicy honeyish malt nose. Medium full sweet malt base, mellow, lightly sticky mouthfeel, herbal and metallic grassy counterpoint. Sweet, but pleasant enough.

Fläschle (Dank am See!):Deep golden, almost clear, creamy white foamy layer, mild to moderate sweet-bitter honeyish-malty nose with fruity traces, shy herbal hops underneath; moderste sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and a bit fizzy; fruity-malty finish with a mild herbal aftertaste. Decent, but nothing special…
