Drunk to celebrate my rating number 22,000. Bottled. A murky dark red beer with a lazing red-tan head. The aroma has notes of wood, cherries, brettanomyces, and some acetone. The flavor is sour with strong notes of sour cherries, alcohol, wood, and brettanomyces, as well as medium notes of vanilla, prunes, and vinegar, leading to a dry, tart, and woody finish.

Pours dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of brett and vinegar. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Pours dark brown with a minimal head. Aroma has hints of sourness, kriek and spices. Taste is quite sour with notes of spices and red wine. Full bodied, smooth finish. Nice, quite unusual kriek.

Bottle that Jan & Charlotte passed to me at Kerstbier Festival Essen, Belgium, Dec 2010 Many thanks Jan & Charlotte for this consumed w/c 14.02.11 Pours dark murky brown a bit like a well stewed cup of tea but with an off-white rim of bubbles. Sour cherry & red wine vinegar combine on the nose. Taste is sharp cherries, sour but lovely, its soft in the mouth, some woodiness, but sharp bitter unripe cherries force their way through again. Really like this A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Very light gushing to thick red-brown head, immediately degraded to a viscous, muddy, red-brown beer, yeast and other things all in suspension. Overwhelming cherry nose upon opening, fruit acids, acetic acid, fruity esters, wood and fusels. Bit of a jumble, but pretty attractive all the same; Sour cherries, with a very remarkable background flavour - mounting towards the finish - that is 100% like dried figs. Alcohol and fusels, but not to obtrusive. Fruity, serious alcoholcontent and -burn, but yet not really sour. Very well (fruit)bodied, slick, fiery. Better than the sum of its parts, marks to prove. Bottle thanks to ditmier for sharing. Pours out cloudy mahogany with a small sand head. Aroma is nice citrus, cherries, oak, and tart. Taste more of the cherries and citrus (lemons mostly) along with some wood and white vinegar.
