Pours clear, darker gold. Scent is intense, rough cocoa, banana, mild walnut in the background. Quite rough and intense indeed. Taste is surprisingly boozy, honey clearly present, banana is quite intense, and overripe. Cocoa powder. decent mead, but I appear to be not a banana fan in mead as well.

Bottle at Superstition, pours a clear golden, no head. Aroma is ridiculous, with baked chocolate and banana upfront, followed by roasted walnuts, and some oak. Flavour is treacly, with lots of toffee, baked banana bread, chocolate, and subdued honey. The banana combined with the nuttiness works beautifully. Impressive.
