500 ml bottle. Dark brown body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head. Aroma of whisky, sherry, wood, liquorice, dark chocolate, marzipan, red fruits, some red wine, slight booze. Tastes pretty similar. Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes roasty, wooden, warm, slightly boozy, a bit fruity, moderate vinous. Tasty, rich and complex, with the barrel notes well integrated. Lovely, not too heavy sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

0,5l bottle at home. Spring 2020 release. almost black color, small tan head. smells soy sauce, wood, vanilla, spices, madeira, brandy, mints, nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes mints, brandy, peppery, bitter chocolate, . finishes lightly boozy with notes of mints, brandy and bitter chocolate. very smooth one, very fruit forward somehow. love the balance of the barrels.

500ml bottle shared by tfontana, thanks bud! Aroma of rye whiskey, dark fruit, and oak. Flavor has a ton of oak barrel nuances. Cherry, oak, raisins, mild rye whiskey. Body seems a tad thin but not out of portion for how many barrels that were used.

Bottle (#81 of 2250) pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's an opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width beige head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, leather, tobacco, oak. Taste is strong roasted malt, toffee, leather, oak, cherry/dark fruit, rye. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, certainly not overwhelmed by the various barrels--if anything, a bit weak but maybe the result of age?
