Intense dark sweet and roasted malty, complex layers of maple sweetness and coffee roast, caramel, opulent chocolate, full bodied, balanced vanilla accented barrel aged goodness converge into the warming malty finish. Gorgeous.

Bottle shared with others. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts and coffee with a bit of maple and some barrel coming through. Flavor has strong roast and barrel with roasted malts, coffee and maple backing.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Big spicy rye aromas on the nose with peppercorn, vanilla, whiskey, chocolate and oak that dominates. More of the same on the palate with vanilla, sweet whiskey and spicy rye notes present. Warming alcohol through the palate to finish. Great body and nice complexity. Very rye whiskey focused. Delicious!
