Keg draught at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Brown bordering on black with a menacing khaki/tan head on top. Notes of vanilla, freshly mown grass, tre!cle, TCP. Maybe a touch of tobacco. Sweet taste but not too much so. Light notes of stone fruit, almost a sourness before the boat balances and nothing goes overboard. Big body with medium carbonation which lets the beer do the talking. This beer is insane.

17/2/2023. Keg, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours almost black with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, biscuit, vanilla, dark fruits, dusty edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, quite earthy. Medium to full body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Good.

Keg at Chesterfield Alehouse. Black colour, beige foam head and aroma of roasty malt, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste is sweet, roasted malt, dark fruits, caramel, cocao, coffee & vanilla, chocolate and tangy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, sweet roasty earthy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable
