Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Hazed coppery amber-brown colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of malt, lemongrass. Taste is spicy, malt, lemongrass, herby, zesty citric, with peppery earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, peppery bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

21/1/2023. Bottle shared at the first ITFC 2023 beer share. From Norfolk Food & Drink Co, Cromer. Pours almost clear amber copper with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, soreen, nutty, herbal, lemongrass, stewed fruits, yeast, medicine, bread. Medium sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily, average carbonation. A curious one.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Moderate haze on a medium copper colour. Fine, lasting, white head. Nose is very strong on the lemongrass. Some slightly odd, sticky, fruited loaf malt in the background. Taste is semi sweet, with an estery character to it that sits a little out of kilter. Decent mouthfeel, albeit pretty oily. Massaging carbonation. Dry and estery finish.
