A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light peated notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, loads of peated smoked malt, alcohol warmth, light licorice, very nice. On tap at Brewdog Liverpool.

440ml can from Brass Castle. Gluten Free. Black-brown colur with reddish tinge, beige foamy head leaving some lacing and aroma of roast malt, smokey, meaty, dark chocolate, cherry notes. Taste is sweet malty, peaty, wood barrel, smokey, ash, dark chocolate with some cherry notes, and nutty earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smokey roasty peaty bitter finish. Nicely sippable.

Black beer, light head. Smells fruity and peaty. Flavour has plenty of peat, bitter malt, some cherry, dark chocolate. Smooth, smoky, tasty and very much a sipper.

Dark pour with a tan head; quite strong smoky aroma, some roasted malt and cherry; tastes of smoke at first, then sour cherry, some cream, solid finish. Interesting, but did not really work for me.
