Following on from the success of the Chocolate Pastry Stout, we thought we'd continue the theme with this next Wildside release. The classic super tasty American dessert inspired this recipe which encompasses oats and various dark roasted malts to give a rich malty base. Onto this we layer enough hops to give a clean freshness to the finish, and flavours of vanilla, Brazilian coffee and dark chocolate.

Cask @ D'Ale House, Rochdale. Dark amber-brown with a bit of a glow and an off-white creamy head. Dark malty brew with hints of roasted and chocolate, and has a very light sweetness about it. Crisp texture.

500ml bottle from Brightside. Gluten Free. Dark brown colour, biege foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of roasted malt, chocolate & coffee. Taste is dark malty, roasty, caramel , with chocolate, coffee, and nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
