Bottle from JRallen34, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Molasses and maple syrup in the nutty aroma with chocolate cake. Roasty sweet flavor with caramel, molasses and rye bread. Medium bodied, somewhat watery mouthfeel. Very tasty beer!

I got this in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe!
It pours a very dark brown with a small head of tan foam.
The smell is both bitterish and sweet; some notes of coffee and chocolate and some grain.
The taste is as nice as the nose. I'm getting the bitter/sweet thing with good tasting coffee notes and good chocolate, which I think is adding both sweetness and bitterness. A nice medium mouthfeel here which also describes the carbonation. It finishes with a nice bitterish kick that leaves a good long lasting aftertaste. I like.
Bottom line: Here's a nice American style Brown Ale that's plenty tasty, has a good mouthfeel, is easy drinking, and looks good in the glass. A solid example of the style.

Draft @ brewery. Creamy mocha (heavy on the coffee-light on the chocolate) and light roasty aroma. Black brown with a small creamy beige head. Coffee, roasty nutty malt flavor. Medium creamy body, soft carbonation. The brewery may call this brown, but it is definitely more porter like. Very nice, whatever it is.

22oz bomber poured into an English pint. Pours black with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and caramel. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Coffee, caramel, chocolate and a little sour on the end. Light bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. I would drink it again.

Enjoyed on tap at Farmhouse in Chicago, IL while celebrating a friends birthday. Appearance a nice slightly dirty dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, nice malty aroma, delicious. Taste of roasted malts, the molasses makes an appearance but isn’t overpowering, nutty, smooth, also a bit \"oaty\". Really great stuff.
