[Gravity cask at Milton Keynes beerfest] A dirty bitter straw flavour. Pretty nasty, this was a bit of a struggle to drink.

Cask at GBBF 2006, from the CBoB entry cask. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity with hints of diacethyl and bread. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and alcohol, leading to a slightly sticky and bitter end that also has light flowery notes.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 06. Hazy copper, with lasting beige head. Resiny hop aroma, bit of grapefruit. Smooth in mouth, juicy citrus finish. Yes, could do with another half a day settling, but still a pretty good bitter.
