Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Black with a thin light brown head. It’s a mildly sweet dark malt ale with roasted notes that seem subdued by its strength, which is only really evident as an alcoholic hue that lingers in the palate.

Pours a black colour with a tiny beige head. Aroma is coffee grounds and deep roasted malts. Moderately sweet, creamy, bitter dark chocolate and coffee flavours with an alcohol afterburn.
