Bottle at BBT feb 2025. Medium body, med-light carbonation. Medium warmth, boozy feeling. Lacks both width and depth of character. Quite simple, lots of roast, but single-dimensional, with some ashy and burnt coffee. Medium toffeish, slightly diacetyly maltiness. Overall average to be honest. At least in its style.

Can at BBT Feb/2025. Dark brown color with mesium beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate, light coffee, nougath. Taste starts alcoholic, followed by chocolate, dark malt, coffee, nougath, Alcohol is very dominant.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, cocoa, roastyness, liquor wooden barrel notes, medium bitter. Full body, malty choco roasty bitter sweet finish. Good.

Pours like motor oil, a pitch black body and a small brown head that slowly disappears. Aroma's: roast, drop, umami, boozy. Retronasal the booziness (alcohol) is much more pronounced, to the point that it gets reminiscent of acetone/nail polish remover/spiritus; additionally there's roast, chocolate, sweetness, wood. Flavour is moderate sweet, alcoholic, light roasty bitter. Body is medium at best - should have been much fuller/thicker. Warming alcohol. Long finish with increasing roast and bitterness. The booziness eventually ruins it.

Zwart bier met lichtbruine schuimkraag. Smaak is warm en krachtig met iets van chocolade, whiskey en rozijnen. Hele gebalanceerde smaak waar de whiskey mooi in terug komt, erg goed.

L'alcool, à 10,5%, à beau ne pas être particulièrement poussée, cette 3565BC déménage réellement avec un barriquage bien trop prononcé. Et bien que l'ensemble soit néanmoins sur des arômes agréables, on en perd du plaisir tout de même. Le visuel est sur un noir total, sans effervescence et sans mousse. Le nez est sur le whisky accompagné d'une base de porter qui arrive tout de même à s'exprimer sur le café et le chocolat. A la dégustation, c'est une texture très fine que nous découvrons sans que cela ne soit perturbant de par la très grosse intensité. En plus du whisky, café et chocolat, de légères épices se dévoilent. L'ensemble est racé avec un alcool chaleureux sans être néanmoins agressif. La deuxième bouche, pleine et profonde est très belle. L’arrière-bouche est cependant trop sur le whisky alors que le final, retombant rapidement, surprend. Ça déménage tout de même.
