Clear dark amber/ brown colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, syrup, dried fruit. Taste is sweet malty, some vanilla and honey. Ok. Thanks Martin!

Braustolz Bockbier, jetzt mit 7 %, Flasche von Markgrafen, Wandlitz. - Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase fettes, leicht klebrig-süßes dunkles Malz, Rübensirup, Rosinen und gedämpfte Hintergrundhopfung, alles recht schematisch. - Antrunk satt und tief dunkelmalzig, leicht schokoladig und ganz mild kaffeebitter mit runder Süße von Rübensirup, Anklängen an Rosinen und milder hopfenwürziger Grundierung. Durchschnittlich rezent, vollmundig, etwas harsch im Mund. Im Abgang fein malzbitter und mild hopfenherb. - Für einen Industriebock gar nicht übel, schön malzig und rund im Geschmack, freilich etwas harsch und plump. (7.11.2023.)

Bottle, 7.0% as Braustolz Bockbier. Surprisingly faint aroma of metal and bread. Clear brown colour. Fizzy light brown head. The flavour is sweet and malty with a hint of metal and spicy hop. Thin mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Sugary finish, but not bad.

Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt and chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and cacao. Shortish aftertaste. Medium bodied. Friendly bock.

Bottle (from the Lake of Constance!):Clear, mahagony coloured,: mild to moderate sweetish nutty-caramelly nose with a touch of barnyard, some dried berries Show up, too; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, extremely light bodied for a beer of 6.6%; shorter malty-bitter finish, still dominated by a certain sweetness.Drinkable, no glory...

bottle from Norma. Brown colour with an amber glow, beige head. Malty, quite full-bodied with a shy but warming touch of alcohol. Shy hoppy touch. Quite chocolatey with hints of caramel. Good!

The bottle looks good. Unfortunately nearly all Braustolz-bottles look the same. Aroma very malty - nasty. The flavor is better. Not too malty, but strong. Drinkable and good beer.

Röstmalziger, alkoholischer Geruch. Zusatz auf der Flasche: "dunkel-süffig". Die schon im Geruch festgestellte Röstmalzigkeit gewinnt direkt im Antrunk die Oberhand, kommt aber am meisten im Nachgeschmack zur Geltung. Vorher spielt unter anderem ein süßes Aroma eine Rolle, wobei der röstmalzerne Teil stets den Hauptteil bildet. Zudem ist es im Antrunk leicht bitter, dies spielt aber kaum eine Rolle. Den Zusatz dunkel kann man wohl nicht leugnen aber auch süffig ist dieses Bier absolut. Test vom 2.8.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,12,12,13,12,13 - 11,85
