Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. An unclear dark golden beer with a lots of floating sediment under a light orangey head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, but also with light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet malty again with strong notes of fruit, peaches, mango, and oranges, as well as spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

33 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a little lacing white head. Vegetable aroma, carrots mainly. Flavour is sweet malty with a vegetable note and some fine yeast spices. Finish is mellow malty with a nice spice note. Lovely despite the vegetable.

Small, near immediately gone off-white head over golden beer with a slight haze. Grain, and some caramel, raw potato peel, caramelized sugar. Caramel again in the taste, and oxyided, stale old sweets, noga, and faraway meaty esters. Rosewater, and unripe green berries. Medium bodied, some grist-like slickness, bit burning MF (not problematic). Again a very, very middle-of-the-road beer. Apart from some burning and some caramel, there’s nothing much to tell.
