3 October 2024. Bottle from Overlook Cagliari. Shared with the lovely Anke @ Alghero!
A: cloudy black, frothy, beige head, lots of sediment.
A: fondant, black pepper, espresso, pistachio.
T: sweetish fig & blackberry; fondant, toast, bitter coffee.
F: peppery hops, bit spicy liquorice, coffee roast.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Decent amount of flavours although the sediment does detract from the experience.

A decent chocolate stout, lovely aroma that promises loads of of chocolate, yet a bit of a letdown when it comes down to flavour. Good though.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours unattractive hazy brown, with froathy foam, brown and very gross. Aroma is delicate nutty and chocolate. Body is fairly dense and smooth, with limited carbonation. Quite some spiciness tickling your tongue. Taste is dominated by spiciness, with medium sweetness. Final is pretty long and spicy.
