16 oz. can dated 1/5/23. I actually get some almond in the nose right under the tab, which doesn't always happen with a "nut" beer. Pours a brownish-black body with a short but still brown head. Marshmallow "smell" doesn't trigger anything in me, but I do catch a bit of cream or vanilla. Taste works pretty well. Kind of a syrupy impression, but the almond and marshmallow stay on the tongue. Cocoa comes up from behind, giving this a nice impression of a Rocky Road chocolate cluster. Alcohol helps enforce the cocoa and vanilla flavors.

Rated at Penthouse Platinum Lounge - Pien Edition. Roasty, dry and earthy with some cocoa, almonds, stuffy chocolate notes and vanilla. A bit unbalanced

Can from Harvest. Pours a deep brown with a finger of beige head that lingers. Pretty viscous visually and on the palate as well. Big marshmallow and almond flavors right off the bat. More of the same on the palate with a nice milk chocolate ice cream note. Smooth, great body. Good balance with a lingering note of marshmallow cream and chocolate.

Seems stronger than 10.5%, marzipan chocolate, thick oily almonds and coffee

Pours like treacle with a minimal caramel coloured body. Marshmallow, vanilla, nutty & malt aroma. Medium to full bodied, silky smooth over the tonge with lighter clean back. Vanilla, malt, marshmallow, demerara & dried fruit tastes with a tangy fruity berry finish & a big alcohol kick on the aft.

Bottle at BD castlegate share. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, chocolate cake, rocky road, heavy sweetness, toasted marshmallow, malt loaf, coffee grounds, dunken donuts and toasted brown sugars. The taste is slick, heavy sweet, sticky, oily, chewy, chocolate cake, toasted marshamallow, boozy kick, toasted brown sugars, spice, cake frosting and some dried fruits with a slick, chocolate boozy finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Slick, sweet and filthy. Not bad.
