Kind of sweet, kind of bitter but the flavor is all very muddled. Thanks Matt H for this one.

One of these African brands made the same way in distinct countries, in this case Congo-Brazzaville, not to be confused with Congo-Kinshasa; thanks tderoeck for sharing! Snow white, very loose and thin, quickly dissolving head, clear pure yellow golden robe. Aroma of dry cereals, cold fried rice, sugar corn, banana leaf, rubber, old cornbread. Grainy-sweetish but otherwise neutral onset, softish carb (lots of it having escaped by now), straightforward sweetish cerealliness, very thin, hinting a bit at cooked rice and flour but ending relatively dry (for a macro lager), with even a vague touch of grainy spiciness, but no hops whatsoever. Actually not even the worst African standard lager I had to date, I guess this can be, to a certain extent and with no further beery expectations, even refreshing on a hot day in Brazzaville, when fresh and ice cold.

6/VII/23 - sample from a trade, shared @ home, BB: n/a (2023-433) Thanks to Grzegorz for the trade!

Clear orange beer, small creamy irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet impression, corn flakes, cardboard, oxidized, some orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of corn, pretty sweet, cardboard, very oxidized, bleh, slightly sourish. Aftertaste: sweet, gains, hay, cow fodder, cardboard, oh well, another country tick if anything! Very happy! :-)

Country tick #168. Many thanks for this bottle to mr. Marek.
