Corked bottle from Mashmaster, thanks! Tasted to celebrate the return of Ratebeer. Dark reddish brown color, pours a huge head. Oak, chocolate, mustard, caramel and a hint of raspberry in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Slightly sour flavor with roast, dark chocolate, raspberry notes, vanilla and porto. Good complexity, lovely sourness and some stout notes. Excellent!

Bottle. Hazy dark brown/red liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of light vinegar, toffee, dark fruit, light lemons, port and wood. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of toffee, light vinegar and lemons. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.

Alright, so yeah - this is courtesy of Tomme Arthur at a sour tasting I happened to be at. Nice. This is great, thanks Tomme! This beer poured with absolutely no head - with plenty of dark ruby notes - not very translucent, but just a slight touch of one. Aroma is a bit of age on it - some notes of oak, wine grape notes, sour cherry notes. Vinegar notes are not nearly as present as I’d expect from a beer that is almost a decade old. This was pretty darn enjoyable. Wow, thanks!

Cloudy chestnut colour with a small off-white head. Intense and complex aroma of cherry, oak, caramel, balsamic vinegar and wood, with a faint hint of dust. Dry and tart fruity flavour with red currants, raspberry and cherry and just a hint of brown sugar sweetness. Approved!

Bottle. Dark amber in color with a white head. Peach/nectarine nose. Amazing taste with flavors of white nectarines, sour cherries, stone fruit, and oak dancing on your tongue. To date my favorite batch of Veritas, but of coarse 004 & 007 are still waiting patiently in the cellar.....
