Bottled. Black colour small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, nutty, some toffee and mild wooden and marzipan tones. Flavour very similar, but sticky sweet.

Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Pecan, cocoa, tonka beanie aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Vanilla, cocoa, sweetness, Tonka beans. Sweet and heavy.

--Canned at PBF XIV. -- Viscous black, no head. Completely generic pastry stout aroma with pecans, tonka and custard. Very sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Syrup an revolting boiled milk, peanut butter, pecans and more syrup. Finishes cloying with inky sweetness.

Black with a medium creamy light brown head. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, coconut, chocolate and wooden barrels sense. Sweet with a warm chocolate, vanilla and caramel end.

Keg draught at the Industry Tap, Sheffield. Impenetrably black, as the Rolling Stones sang, the sun blotted out from the sky. Ring of brown head. Salted caramel, coal and ash in the aroma. Bittersweet taste. Sweet from gooey caramel notes and more balanced on the finish with intense dark malt. Thick oily body and minimal carbonation. Not getting all the adjuncts in this one but ride me sideways it’s good.

Can in the flat. Pours black, nose is huge tonka spice, vanilla, chocolate, digestive biscuits, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, chewy, popcorn, creamy vanilla, pecans, spices.
