OK, not bad for what it is. I can really appreciate the fact that the sheep’s breweries are developing these new and exciting beers. However, they still have a ways to go. But, I encourage them to continue these ventures.

Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Orange blonde color. Pumpkin and spices in the aroma. Sweet, spicy flavor with cinnamon. Sticky mouthfeel. Simply not likeable.

From a very old set of notes I found. All my notes say is "Smells like a pumpkin ate a pumpkin then shit it out. Taste is even worse. I’d drink it again" ...Must have been at the end of the night...

10/7/7/8/10/7

I wasn’t expecting much at all from Anheuser-Busch... but it does have some drinkability. Light orange color with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a film top and thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some corn, light pumpkin pie filling and orange zest. Taste is light bodied, lots of LIGHT flavors of malt, light pumpkin, a touch of ginger and cinnamon. Finish is watery, crisp with some light pumpkin and golden grain malt aftertaste. A good transition beer for a novice.

Pours copper with quick white head. The modest aroma is sweet sugary, slightly winter spicy and a sense of sweet pumpkin candy. The taste is a bit prickly with carbonation enhancing some winter like spices, a modest sugary pumpkin note and then a sense of honey and sugary sweet malts. Not too bad but a bit on the sweet side.

Moderate pumpkin aroma, buttery with hints or orange peel. Clear orange amber, no head. The flavor is all pumpkin, no spice. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Raw potato is left on the palate. Poundable and not terribly overwhelming, but still flavorful.

Ahh, I knew that this beer was suspicious. Got it at Ceol in Brooklyn (they also had Shocktop on sale... that should have been my warning). I feel like crap for having purchased this beer. It poured a pretty boring look, with quickly disappearing head. Watery. Some mild spicy smell. Some in the taste, but mostly it just tasted like a mediocre beer. Drinkable, but I wish I didn’t pay six bucks for this rubbish.
