12 oz bottle. I’m comparing this to Blue Moon’s Harvest Pumpkin Ale, which I just drank. Here’s AB’s answer to that beer. Aroma is much better, more pumpkin pie-ish than Blue Moon’s. Appearance is much worse. It doesn’t have that nice amber hue that Blue Moon had. Also, very little head, and not as good lacing. Flavor is more like pumpkin pie, so it gets the upper hand there. Still a little watery. Overall, it surpasses Blue Moon’s, surprisingly. I wasn’t expecting that. Shock Top, for example, is inferior to Blue Moon. Here comes my rant against AB. The reveiw for this particular beer is over. Not that pumpkin beer is a new trend or anything, but I have to get something off my chest. I swear, almost everything Anheuser-Busch does is a ripoff of the latest trend in brewmaking. Bud Light and Lime? 1st there was Miller Chill. Kilarney’s? This was their lamest ripoff. Of what? Killian’s, obviously. Bud Light Golden Wheat/Shock Top? Blue Moon. Bud Ice? Icehouse. Bud Light?? Miller Lite! The very name Budweiser? The original Budweiser from Czechoslovakia. I hate AB!!! Rant over.

bottle, pours light amber with a tall off white head. Pumpkin and nutmeg nose, very light. Sweet pumpkin pie flavor with some unpleasant spicing. Not a fan.

Bottle Clear amber body. White head. Unbalanced, unnatural aroma. Moderately sweet, quite unbalanced flavour. Not bad, but not interesting.

Overall Impression: Another one of these attempts at a different style by Bud, not terrible, but not great

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper color with a large frothy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is cinammon, ginger, and light malt. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is similar to the aroma with a spicy finish. A decent spice brew from AB.

12oz bottle-pours a rich off white head and amber color. Aroma is bready, herbal, fruit-banana. Taste is light/medium malt-bready, herbal, fruit-banana, clove-spice. Occasional. Easy drinking. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out.

bottle - Pours clear orange with a one finger off-white head. It has a mild, spicy malt aroma. I can pick up the pumpkin and spice in the malty flavor though the beer as a whole is fairly bland. It’s smooth and light-bodied with a short, clean finish. Not bad and at least A-B continues to market different styles of beer, but as is typical for them, it’s a bland brew relative to many craft brewers.

Bottle, 5.5% at LCRBM08. Spicy aroma. Clear golden colour. The flavour is also spicy, slightly phenolic, perhaps a bit soapy.
