pint can courtesy of mansquito. Pours a rich copper-gold color with a big foamy white head that has fair retention. The aroma is on the mild side with apples and apple peel. The taste is a big blast of apples that are slightly tart. The palate is light and crisp. Finishes short and dry. overall: Decent cider--goes down easy. paired well with some pretzels.

Can: pours orange with very active white head. Aroma is plenty of apple and ambiguous beery notes. Taste is sweet, pretty simple. Easy to drink. Not super light, i.e., with body. Fine.

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a solid, white head. Tart, appley, yeasty nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, fruity with distinct apple accents with a slight, underlying sweetness. Surprisingly pleasant. 130623

Blik gedeeld met SandervdL en LiekevdV. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van druiven, champagne en gist. De smaak is fruitig, fris zuur en champagne achtig.

Eine Bier-Cider-Mischung kannte ich bislang nicht, aber es ist allemal besser als alle Bier-Wein-Mischungen, die ich bislang kannte. Im Körper überwiegt die spritzige Apfelsäure, während im Abgang der malzig-süße Bierton rüberkommt. Dabei passt der zitronig-grasige Hopfen als lockere Würze gut drüber. Auch wenn es aromatisch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und wirr ist, kann man es gerne probieren. Große Harmonie kann ich aber nicht finden.
