Can from Beerdome. Aroma is roasty with burnt malt, dark chocolate, some liquorice, coffee, hint of tonka. Flavour is medium sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Comes with a disappointing medium body. Very roasty and burnt, but lacks finesse and body.

500ml can. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately dark malty and slightly grainy, oaty aroma, hints of caramel, rock sugar, nutty overtones. Taste is bitter, roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, minimally metallic, hints of dark chocolate, treacle, molasses, rock sugar. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively light and cautious, a bit devious - not that impressive.

Puszka 0.5l (08.2025). Wodnista kawa, zboże, mało ciała, trochę pustawe, bez goryczki no ciężko aż tak spierdolic risa, chyba tylko procenty są ok.

21st November 2022; Monthly Shrewsbury Beer Share, five guys and loads of beer. Can from Simon; BB August 2025. Wispy tanned head on a black body; all a bit 'weak and watery' considering it's ABV. Some licorice and chocolate in there, even coffee and some sweet caramel notes, but all subdued.

500ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 22. Pours dark, moderate tan head. Rather strange, comes across exceptionally dry with notes of blackjack penny sweets.. some mild roast and toast emerging. Doesn't taste like an Imperial stout.. more like a thin dark ale. Bit odd.

Can 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep brown with an orange hue and a small, beige head. Lovely molasses and vanilla aroma. Solid body, but for an Imperial Stout not really. Massive roastiness, English licorice and molasses. Malt bitter finish. Well made although I personally want my Imperial Stouts thicker and richer. 251022
