(Draught at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht, 16 Feb 2023) Deep amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of wheat, apricots, orange peel, spices and alcohol. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with apricots, orange peel, wheat, oak wood and a slightly boozy and warming finish with a mild spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty, rich and warming. Very nice.

Bottlw. Color: Slightly hazy amber, almost no head, very thin off-white. Aroma: Sweetish amd fruity Moscatel. Taste: Wheat malt, overwhelmed by sweetish and fruity Moscatel / sweet white grapes. Full body, below average carbonation. Boozy hints. Malty base. Over moderate to medium sweet, light bitterness. Nice one, although the barrel overwhelms the base beer.
