Our small, well respected brewery is based on creating uncompromising artisinal ales of unusual character, which is what this, our 10th anniversary ale, is. Strong, hoppy, unique and delicious, defying definition. Enjoy, and thanks to all who have supported us through these 10 years.

Amber with a white head. American hops dominate the aroma, with the classic peach and grapefruit notes. Dry and bitter with a hint of alcohol. A bonus point for the fantasplendous name takes it to 4.0

Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate hoppy, pine, light yeasty, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration. (Fruit sweet and fresh, hop dry). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. ;o))

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Big fruity and flowery hops in aroma. Flavour is sweet, fruity hops along with a sting of alcohol. Big hoppy aftertaste.

Another heavyweight from our midwest tasting. This is a big piney, raisiny, strawberry, carmel induced brew that has a syrupy mouth, which somehow is much lighter than the 10.5% suggests. I didn’t really know where the mouth wanted to go, but the finish was all about hops sitting on your mouth for hours on end. Loved that. I miss these types of beers in Japan. Thanks Bunkypop.

Bottle from Pantanap! Nose of PINEy hops, PINEapple and guava. like smelling a tropical fruit punch in the pine forest. Clear orange with a small beige head. Flavor is hop bitterness and flowery, fruity sweetness, the finish being hoppy bitterness. Very unusual!

Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Hazy copper, lasting beige head. Piney hop, bit too sweet. Good grapefruity hop. Great aroma. Malts are ok. Aggressive hop finish. Good beer with plenty of lychee fruit.

First sip reminded of Dreadnaught. Second sip reminded of Hopslam. Third sip was filled with bitterness and alcohol with a slightly detectable sweet backbone. Pour presents a crystal clear copper body with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity citrus — orange, apricot and grapefruit. Notes of sugar sweetness and flowers. The flavor is heavily bitter and slightly sweet. One tastes oranges and honey and then lots of grapefruit rind. Moderately acidic. Long, bitter finish. The alcohol is upfront and almost liquor-like. I enjoyed this very much, but not near as much as other 3F beers.
