very dark amber pour, with a very small beige head.Large hop aroma, big american hops, with touches of honey, and cherries. The flavour is very hoppy, and laced with rich honey. NOt hoppy enought to be a double IPA, but the 10% would suggest it is. It’s like a super strong creamy honey flavour IPA. interesting Update: I wasnt able to finish the original bottle, so i corked it and stuck it in the fride, and forgot abotu it. Well its been about 3 weeks, and now this beer has totally transformed, its not a dark dark brown barley wine. Huge caramel malt aromas, and flavours with a big hop wallop in the end. I think i prefer it now than originaly.

Bomber from Toby's cellar. cloudy amber, thin head. Aroma and taste are showing their age. with the malts getting a bit tannic and losing some of its sweetness. Hop traces are evident but apparently not like it was in its prime.

Bottle from Secret Santa. Orange color. Grapefruit, red berries, flowery oily hops and chalk in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with an ointment mouthfeel. Firm flowery oily hops with grapefruit and berries. But all the fruit and hops don’t bury the alcohol. Therefore an alcoholic and quite hopbitter finish. A big but still likeable beer.

From a bomber, vintage 2007. Pours a cloudy apricot with scant off white head. Malty aroma. Flavors are oxidized hops with plenty of bitterness. Clearly this one has not aged well.

Bottle offered @ my parent’s basement thanks to RABinCO. Thanks ! Pours a murky orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. Quite a bit of caramel, toasted malts, and caramel with some dull herbal hops. Twangy fruity flavor with some spice, toffee, and cardboard. Surely past it’s prime but kind of fun to try.

Bottle shared by someone I cannot remember, but thanks! Poured a hazy amber orange with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was sweet with caramel and grain and balanced by bitter pine and citrus. Flavor began with pine hops and then became more citrus with a strong malt backbone.

courtesy of retorp. Pours cloudy amber, still with light golden lacing. Aroma caramel malts loaded with grains. Taste has a thick mouthfeel of grains. Light hops and citrus with caramel malts. Drinks easy, thick on palate, a fine strong ale and another geart offering by 3FFF
