Ruby in colour with hot pink foam, this beer looks as good as it tastes. Blueberries and vanilla notes dominate and act as a counterbalance to the tart notes from our house mixed fermentation base that’s been maturing in an ex-red wine foeder for 6 months.

A bottle shared with little Dina, PBF_pivica and Prof. Prezbelewsky. Congratulations to Prez on his 1000th Untappd entry. Unclear purple colour. Blueberry aroma followed by vinous, berry, and prunes aromas, hints of fruit skins, a goaty touch and a woody hint of oak. Moderate to high tartness, juicy, quite rich for a 4% ABV, with lemony sourness, notes of sour berries, and some dried fruit sweetness. Quite smooth, slick, light and refreshing.

Pours hazy red with a off-white head. Aroma is tart with notes of malt, blueberry and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium sour with a long dry, berry, tart and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft to fizzy.

Draught @ MASH 23. Tart, slightly sour and earthy with hints of funkiness, blueberry juice and earthiness. Not super complex but tasty

Draft, taster. @Mash Beer Festival 2023, Barcelona (Spain) 27/10/2023 [#6.820 Global - #80 Norway - #34 Lervig Aktiebryggeri] Pours ruby red with a small pinkish head. Aroma: tart blueberries, funk and barnyard. Taste: oak barrels, lot of vanilla, blueberries and lemon sherbet. Lasting tart mouthfeel. Next one please!

Notater fra en aldeles utmerket kveld på Våland, i lag med Egil, Johan, Camilla, Marianne og Fia. Vi starter samlingen med denne 0,75 flasken fra Gulating Stavanger: lett uklar rubinrød med ok skum. en ganerenser med sure bær (inkl. stikkelsbær), skarp citrus og hint av mandel. Mye å glede seg over i en lettøl, men ettersmaken var heller tynn.

Shared bottle with Holmen1, Johan, Camilla, Marianne at Johan’s place 02.07.22. Slightly hazy rubin red. Diminishing white head. Strong aroma and taste of sour redcurrants, gooseberries and rhubarb. Quite acid. Perhaps some blueberries in aroma.
