Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. pours opaque brownish black with medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, sweet liquorice, bread crust and (rusty) iron. Taste is medium to very sweet, light bitter, faint acidic and faint salty. Body is light oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted barley, sweet liquorice, coffee, iron and estery notes of banana and melon and hints of peated malt.

Bottle. Pours hazy very datk brown with shades of ruby and airy greyish tan head. Clear aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee, with estery touches. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of caramel malt and touches of yeast, lactose and bitter touches of hops and metal. Estery and roasty aftertaste, with touches of metal. Well-balanced and quite nice, despite the metallic touches.

Smagning på restaurant af Nibe Bryghus. Det var a dejlig afslutning af denne lang dag kørende hele dagen. Jeg synes Nibe at være en meget hyggelig fiskerby åbnet til Limfjorden.

Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate. Decent roasty and woody flavour, notes of coffee and unsweetened liquorice, hints of burnt sugar and dark bitter chocolate. Not bad at all.
