Bottled (BB 09/2009)
Nut brown-amber color, small beige head. Toffeish-caramelly aroma. Toffeish fudge flavor with oaky hops. Sticky. Some alcohol, feels a bit lighter than its announced 10,5 %.

Bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus, 10.5% ABV
Hazy amber color. A brew with strong caramel and malt, more evident in the flavor than the aroma; medium sweetness, quite powerful hopping. Not bad, but not exciting.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Copper body and a small, beige head. It was served a bit too cold. Malty sweetness, dried fruits and hops in the aroma. The flavor much the same. Full to medium body, a bit dryish in the mouth. Long, sweet finish with dried fruits. Not much evidence of the alcoho, but it is present. A quite lovely beer. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7.(070512)

Bottle. It pours a nice amber body with some floaties and a beige head. Dried fruits, malty sweetness, sugar, some licorice and alcohol in the aroma. The flavor is fruity and sweet, with dried fruits, some alcohol and pleasant hops. Full-bodied and slightly warming. Lasting malty and hoppy finish. Unusual use of hops, but nice and pleasant.
