Bottle, 75cl corked, from trade with Papsoe. Not my bottle in the pic. It pours a black body under a diminishing finger-thick tan head. Whisky-ish, coffee-burnt nose wtih som oak and ash, and chocolate. The flavor is roasted and burnt, with ashtray and chocolate. Full-bodied, warming and dry. Dry, burnt, roasted-bitter finish. A big one, maybe too burnt to reach higher scores, but a fine beer indeed. 100409

courtesy of cheeseman, another great cheers for bringing this one! pours black with beige head. aroma of chocolate malts, grainy with some yeast aroma and wood barrel. Taste, medium carbonation, malty with chocolate. Barrel was subdued and added but a faint touch to the beer. I really could not pick anything special in this one.
