(Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen, 23 May 2009) Red colour with frothy, pink head. Fruity nose with cherries, almonds and a slightly chemical hint of washing-up liquid. Fruity, sweet taste with notes of cherries and almonds. Clean and refreshing, sweet and slightly artificial. Decent, but not really exciting.

09/01 0.25 l bottle @Hopdevil, Zagreb. It poured clear red body with small pink head. Cherry aroma, juicy. Some wood in flavor which gives an interesting tone to that cherry juice. Still, there is no beer felt here, which is a big minus to it. Had better those.

0.33l bottle from a store here in Split. Poured a slightly hazy reddish colour with a huge white head tinged just ever so slightly with pink that collapsed slowly leaving scattered bits of lacing. Fakeish stale cherry in the nose. Very faint taste, metal and cherries. Slightly tart, weak finish. Not unpleasant but a bit pathetic.

Small Bottle. Very sweet cherry aroma. Hazy ruby, low layering head. Sweet sodapop cherry flavoring, sticky sweet. Lightbodied, somewhat dry sparkly exit. Amazing they dare write Kriek on the label. But ok somewhat refreshing in the extreme sumer heat we have now - I might mix the rest with a wheatbeer and see what happens.

Bottled. Dark rubyish amber colour, with small reddish head. Aroma is acidic cherry with rubbery hints. Flavour is sourness mainly, not much cherry at all. Semi-dry palate.

Deep cherry red, decent but quickyl vanishing reddish head. Candy cherry aroma with some acidity. Light, sweetish bubblegum cherry flavor - slightly sourness in the finish. Reasonably ok kriek.
