On tap at Põrgu, Tallinn. Pale golden with a small, white head. The usual pale lager aroma, lightly malty with cooked vegetables. Hints of metal too. Fairly sweet, not much bitterness here, but drinkable. Quite standard cheap industrial lager, feels like something I have had hundreds of times before. Hmmm, hints of hops is noticable after a while, but it is very weak and doesn’t help much.

(Draught at Põrgu, 20120704) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and grain. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, mildly grain, malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweetness and low bitterness. Pretty dull pale lager.

I had this and I am not sure if the beer was off but it had the appearance of a wheat beer but was supposedly a lager! The appearance was a very hazy golden colour and smelt grassy with a hint of citrus. The taste was citrussy but then became increasingly sour. I am not sure if this beer was intended to be like this. I will rate it again in future.

Bottled. Clear golden, firm head. Light mustardy nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Rather empty and completely without bitterness. Some lemon hide in a distance. Sharp and void.

Yellow. Medium bodied, low bitterness, strong cellar flavour. Despite the name not a pilsner, just a cheaply made lager.

Draught @ Tristan & Isolde, Tallinn
Yellow, slightly hazy color, creamy white head. Nose is a bit harsh with malts and hint of hops. Crisp mouthfeel. Flavor has lemon water, malts and sweetness. Sourish aftertaste. A bit hard-to-rate lager.
