Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Roasted and quite bitter flavour. Solid more traditional imperial stout. Good.

Canned at PBF. Black, beige head. Aroma of licorice and marzipan. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, licorice, coffee and tobacco. Lingering very bitter finish.

PBF XV. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, sweet chocolate syrup, some mild spiciness and some toffeeish tones. Flavour is spiciness, some dried fruits, chocolate, spices and mild alcohol sweetness to it. Bitter. But also sweet.

From Brewvana, no dating.
Pours black with a finger of tan foam, look at all that lacing.
The smell is loaded with chocolate, roasted malt, bits of coffee and vanilla, with some nutty notes.
The taste matches the smell. Nice bits of sweetness that kinda balances the coffee and dark chocolate. Must be, as per the label, the candi sugar. Very damn tasty.
Full bodied with lowish carbonation, I get none of the alcohol and that's scary.

Pretty good, nutty, good, I don't know what else to write here other than it's pretty good

Interesting beer. Aromas are kind of funky but flavors do get a hint of black walnut with plenty of black patents and malt, and so roast and molasses. Don't know where Belgian fits in. Decent Imperial Stout overall.

Can @ Four Points, Brown Dear, WI. Pours black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar, chocolate, coffee, nuts. Flavor is sweet and rather bitter, rich roast malt caramel, coffee, brown sugar, bitter dark chocolate, nuts, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 111119

16oz can. Thick, steady, deep rusty beige head. Thick, viscous brown-black body. A little heavy handed, sweet. Has a lot of adjuncts to help cover up an otherwise mediocre Imperial Stout. Has a cheap malt extract feel to it, or maybe just poorly attenuated. Not that enjoyable. Big and messy. Unpleasant aftertaste.

Keg at the brewery, 9/2/16. Black, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, smoke, nuts, caramel. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, plum, cherry, smoke, dark chocolate. Medium bodied, mild booze, well balanced.
