Bottle at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A clear ruby beer with no head, just some tan bubbles. Sweet and malty nose with dried fruits in large amounts. The flavor gives the beer a β€œbig” impression, sweet, malty and with a good dose of alcohol. Flat, full-bodied and almost sticky in the mouth. The aroma is a bit boring, it’s the flavor that does the beer, and it is certainly a beer meant to be drank over a long period of time. Sure not a beer you drink several of. (080913)

Bottle @ EBF 2008. Hazy reddish brown body with a small and disappearing off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, dry fruit and hops. Flavor is mostly sweet malt, brown sugar and alcohol, some caramel and fruit as well but drowning in sweetness and alcohol. Not very balanced.

Had this at the European Beer Festival Kobenhaven 13-09-08 Craig thrust this beer in front of me and I must say I didn’t mind it but it was no world beater. Poured dark amber, touch sweet, plenty of fruitiness other than that I wasn’t getting too much else.

(Bottled, EBF). Dark ruby-amber color, no head. Brandy, plums and red currant in the nose. Very syrapy-sugary sweet. Plum, portwine and riped grapes. Needs lots of ageing to develop.
