Nice stuff, with great sharp grapefruit and pine. Orange, mostly clear pour. Some tangerine, subtle juniper berries. Bitter finish with good body. Nice stuff all around. Bottle.

Manorama is yeast with some slightly resin hops and malt. Flavors sweet up front with growing bitter some herbal and a bit medicinal. Body is on the soft side with an okay finish. Disappointing. Drinkable I guess.

Still not convinced on Kveik IPAs. Cosmic Runestone isn’t a bad beer by any means—the fruitiness of the Centennials and Sabros plays nicely with the fresh herbal greenery of the juniper—but the yeast adds a tang reminiscent of the vegetal ickiness you find in bad, overhopped NEIPAs. Not prominent, but enough to keep me from fully enjoying the pint. Bready, caramel-tinged malts are nice, though.

12 ounce bottle from an IPA mixed pack from Festival Northland, 11/6/20. Slightly hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of melon, dank, juniper, passiontfruit, pine, toffee malt. Taste is melon, passionfruit, pine, juniper, grpaefruit. Medium bodied, juicy, low to moderate bitterness. Nice.
