Single from Ingles. Pint glass @home. Purty, clear amber. Soapy, whitewashed, sticky lace. Smell is curiously full of mango & sharp grain. Creamy, lingering citrus, butter, sharp toast, lingering acid, bitter pepper burn finish. Thin but really frothy. Kinda fine for what it is.

Very clear and copper coloured body with a fairly thin, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of crisp grain, a dash of bread, yeast and light caster sugar with some grass noticeable as well - fairly subdued and nice! Light-bodied; Very dry and floral/grassy notes dominate up front with a very easy-drinking profile that has a little bit of sweetness from caster sugar, tucked in with some dry, citrusey components, but goes down easily. Aftertaste is clean, almost soapy, with a medicinal-like flavour at first, but nothing strong and still goes down easily with the soft malt and softer fruit/sweetness here. Overall, a very clean, soft, easy-drinking beer that still has some nice flavours and is refreshing in the heat of summer here in D.C./Baltimore! Thanks to Colleen for bringing this one to me and nice to sample in the season! I sampled this 33 cL bottle, given to me by a coworker from the Boat on the Chesapeake Bay on 10-July-2021, sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-July-2021.

Interesting fresh hoppy blond with honeyed notes of malt. I was kinda surprised I like this that much. Served in bottle at hotel in Baltimore.

Bottle as pictured. Drank directly from the bottle it feels pretty good and tastes rather mild and mannered. In the glass it pours into a clear pale brew. Clean unoffensive odor. No head to speak of. Taste is friendly and laid back but it has just enough kick in it to let you know its from the old country, or at least the original recipe was. Yes, hints of British ale in this one fer sure. Very good cutting co2. I thought maybe this brew was made in latrobe but its not. Much better than latrobe's Guinness Blonde American Lager. Stays interesting clear to the end. Lacks any of those ill ale attributes. Good job on this one ginny. Much better than expected.
