Can/Fest. A- Roasty, cocoa, mild coffee. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Coffee, char, wood, mild smoke, subtle rye spice, very faint chilies, cocoa. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Solid beer and really awesome can label. The coffee was pleasant but not as strong as I wish it was. The rye provided a unique spice to it. I would love to find an entire can to sit down with rather than a few ounces.

Pint can thanks to Drake! Pours inky black with a large, soft dark brown head. Sweet chocolates, coffee, caramel, hints of fruit in the aroma. Flavor of dark and milk chocolate, coffee, molasses, roasted and toasted malt, coffee grounds, caramel. Roasty and toasty... would be nice to sip by a fire.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of coffee with strong roast and a bit of dark grains backing. Flavor has strong bitter coffee and and roasted malts with dark grains supporting.

12 ounce can, 6/27/20. Dark brown, very large dark brown head, good retention. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roast. Taste is roast, dark chocolate, coffee. Like rich dark chocolate. Full bodied, booze well hidden. Very, very nice.

The Aromas are coffee, dark malt, hints of molasses and roast. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, slightly sweet up front with strong bitter coming on and lingering.

Sampled at a festival. Black, good, thick head. some alcohol in the aroma, but the primary character is coffee in the aroma and flavor, dark roast, bitter, burnt grain. flavor of cold coffee mostly. I am disappointed I did not pick up on the other flavors, anise and smoke both would be good. Worth rerating.

Very impressed with this brewery so far. This beer pours a dark, brown-black, with good-sized, lasting tan head. Aroma of coffee and licorice, some roasted grain. Flavor has coffee, licorice, chocolate, roasted grain. Very nice stout.
