(swing top bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Quite discreet aroma: sweet toast-malty and nutty with a light herbal hoppy note and a very faint note of smoke from behind. Medium-sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty, nutty taste, again faint hints of smoke; slim, sweet-bitter malt-accented finish. Unfortunately a bit slim-bodied, esp. in the finish, otherwise a drinkable dark Landbier.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear amber coloured, mid-sized lacing off-white head; toasted malt, sweet-malt and caramel in the nose, underpinned by some hops; moderate sweetish(-malty) and bitter flavour, light bodied, soft bitter-sweet finish with delicate but distinctive traces of smoked malt in the aftertaste. Very franconian, very decent and tasty Landbier......
