0.5 l bottle from 'Hofladen Sauerland', best before June 2024. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove and honey. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy taste of grains, banana, clove and honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry, slightly chalky finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid Weizen, nothing wrong with it.

Bottle in US as Westphalener Weizen with the Miss Weizen label, and I shoulda known better than to buy a single obscure beer at Pats in Oviedo, but I did anyway and of course, this is old. No discernable age statement on the bottle but its clearly past its prime. Poured cloudy golden, voluminous head. Nose is a little lemony but faded, flavor is dominated by wet cardboard, sherry notes. Creamy body hints at something that could be good.

Bottle. Pale blonde, cloudy. Just a hint of banana in the aroma. Citrus, banana and a hint of flour in the flavor. Down to earthy, quite drinkable hefeweizen.

Bottle. Listed as Westphalener Weizen. 5.3%. Beauty queen on the front label. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big sweet peppery banana nose. Oranges, light citrus, bigger bread and banana esters. Smooth. Solid.

Bottle bought in Marsberg. Fresh and smooth mild beginning. Nice clove and yeasty sweetness, Like the "Weizen Dunkel" without the chocolaty touch, intense mild, nice spicy clove with a round and smooth yeast. Very refreshing and rich. Nice brew!
