Swing top bottle. Dark brown color. Maple syrup in the aroma. Sweet flavor with apple and maple syrup. Hints of banana and toast. Toffee. Not very impressive.

Das Bier ist schön hefig-malzig, aber im Nachgeschmack wird der doch auch schon vorher spürbare muffige Ton etwas dominanter, ohne den dieses Bier viel schöner und erfrischender wäre.... Insgesamt aber noch "gut" ;-)

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma has notes of wheat and caramel, with an edge of burnt malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, moderate yeasty, banana, rubber notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081129]

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy, warm orangey brown with a dense, beige head. Aroma of yeast and burned caramel. Medium body, yeast, burned caramel and a light underlying acidity. 291108

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours dark brown with a one finger thick off-white head. Roasted malty and estery wheaty aroma. Light butterish. Sweet malty and butterish with a classic estery note in the flavour. Citric to acidic in the finish.

Bottle, 5.3%. Roasted aroma, hint of banana. Cloudy dark brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is mostly citric, also has a little roasted notes and perhaps a little fruit.
