Old rating from 2019 - A 330ml bottle, 5.9 ABV, brought from Libeerdade in Lisbon. A unusual but interesting idea that seems to work well. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1999

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 34B: 21A/2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L00218 (BBF 05/2019). AROMA: medium hop aroma with citrus notes (mandarin, lime) and slight floral, with a faint sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium hop flavor (lime, mandarin), followed by a neutral and malt background with a slightly sweet character. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish and medium bitter. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice hybrid between a lager and a APA/IPA, and well executed (no sulphury/diacetyl compounds, no fermentation esters). Sample brewed at Oitava Colina.
