Kaapse Dorian is a Cork Style Irish Dry Stout. Opposed to the more know version from Dublin, this style is typically brewed with a big chunk of wheat and Crystal malts. We also added some flaked oats for a even more creamy mouthfeel, and some roasted Barley for the typical roasty note you would expect in a Stout.
Dorian is our first beer we saturated by using Nitro. Which amplifies the smooth creamy mouthfeel and makes this brew so drinkable.

18/I/23 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a (2023-72)
Clear purple brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: spicy, malty, rye maybe, quite some coffee, more roast, caramel, some vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty start, hay, lots of cow fodder, very watery, light, gentle roast, some toasted bread, grains, cow fodder, meh. Aftertaste: little bitter, a bit watery, grains, hay, very rural, ok but not great.
