Inspired by classic Japanese beers, Kicho was brewed with the power of barley and rice to accentuate the juicy hoppiness of all that an IPA can be. Belgian sourced grains and the combined flavours of Pacific region hops like Nelson Sauvin make this IPA truly one of a kind!

Bottle. Le Comptoir Belge, Brussels. Not sure what the user below rated but this is not copper amber coloured. It’s light hazy pale straw with a very decent soppy sticky white foam. Nose has tangy citrus. Whiff of pine. Some US hop dank thing going on. It actually smells a little bit like Jaipur. Super clean (no doubt in part due to the rice in the grist?) backdrop. Taste is clean and airy but not without some depth. Clean lean bitter finish. Absolute class IPA.

Bit fluffy, amberish tinted head over fully hazy copper-amber beer with a mossy sheen. Sweetish, rosewater, amandine, faint wafts of almost rotting waterweeds/algae. Sweetish, again this perfumey rosewater - indeed often in Japanese beers. Leafy bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite slick, bit viscous, almost sticky. Light to medium bodied. Bit weird... more PA than IPA. Txs to Stef!
