Bottle, bought in Bayreuth. Dark brown color. malty, caramelly aroma and flavor with apple syrup. Rather thin, but also bready. Just a bit disappointing dunkel.

* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top bottle, 2005. Malzig-trockenes Bier, Röstmalztöne, sehr dunkelmazig-trocken. Spannend, aber lecker!

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, toasted malt and hops.

Bottle. A gusher producing a clear, brown body and virtually no head. Weak nose with a roasted touch. The flavor has some caramel to follow the roasted malts, but it’s rather weak all over. Medium body. Lasting finish with the flavors found initially. Nothing wrong here, except it’s complete lack of exciting abilities. 100813

Dark amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with some cardboard. Sweet, plain caramel malty flavour

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and as MiP mentioned plenty of nuts.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is dusty and vaguely tart. Sweet malty. A bit of paper. Medium to thin body.

Bottle, bought at the brewery. Mild fruity aroma. Clear very dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is slightly roasted, but otherwise quite mild. Hint of bread and paper in the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of MiP/KimJohansen. Pours an orangey brown with an off-white head. Nose has roasted malt and a little brown sugar. Medium body, carbonation is a little high, roast and licorice with a dryish finish. 130810
