Former name: "Festbier".

Bottled (BB 06/2009) as "Staalfelder Osterhäsla". Deep honey golden color, small white head. Grassy, a bit sweet nose with buttery notes. Sweet malty, medium-bodied with grassy hops and some metallic notes. Some light late bitterness. Dry mouthfeel in the aftertaste. Basic, clean oktoberfest.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with a metallic note. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of metal (is it the hops?), as well as a light note of bread. The finish is dry with notes of straw and metal lingering.

(bottle, as Staalfelder Christkindla) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a small, slightly off-white creamy head. Sweet, slightly cara-malty nose with light honey-fruity notes. Moderately sweet flavour with a light balancing bitterness, light bodied mouthfeel with a soft carbonation. Caramel-malty, slightly bready taste; moderately dry, sweet-bitter, slim and slightly hoppy finish. A bit slim for the cold winter season but anyway a likeable Landbier (11.02.08).

Bottle (purchased at Landbierdealer, Hof): Deep golden coloured, small creamy off-white head; delicate sweet-malty, bready and slightly hoppy nose with a distinctive barnyardy touch; moderate bitter (-malty) flavour, low carbonation, soft MF; soft, quite dry and bitter finish with a faint lemony touch. O.K. a typical franconian Landbier, not very different from the regular Hübner stuff...........

Test vom 25.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,12,9,12 - 11,70
