Former name: "Festbier".

Had it as the Christkindla. Just a fresh lager beer. Mildly grainy and hoppy, very German.

Amber-golden in the glass. White head. The beer starts malty and moderate bitter. Caramel, very dry-astrigent. The aftertaste is still dry, but has hints of malty sweetness. A bit mouldy-dusty. Moderate bitter.
interesting, as it is not highly drinkable. Nut very nice for a Festbier. --> 12/12/11/12

bottle, as Kerwa-Festbier @ 5.5% ABV. Thanks to Frankenland! Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized white head. Intensively malty nose. Full-bodied, malty with some nice resiny, grassy hops in the background. Very shy hints of fruit (apples, pears) are also present. Very nice.

Had this as Hübner Bräu Staafelder Christkindla. Bottle looks simple but good, the beer in the glass is not very zippy. Starts metallically and dry, hoppy notes, also a bit soapy. Finish a little bit spicy, but still metallically. Only average.

Bottle, 5.0% as Osterhäsla. The aroma is on the malty side. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour is mildly malty, not as much as the aroma. Slightly roasted, faint hint of smoke. Very mild, but good.
