Clear amber beer, small beige lacing. Aroma of strong caramelized malt, grains, red fruits. Taste of strong grainy dark malts, some wood, caramel.

Bottle picked up from Giesinger Brauerei (the 2nd bigger North München venue) had this Saturday 27th May in the company of Dad and Pauline, Mittenwald after a 13 - 14km hike. Pours dark brown with a slight scarlet hue and a rapidly disappearing head. Like the others this isn't really hitting the heights, slight thickness in the mouth, there is a noted barrel ageing presence, a tiny edge of sourness. It's ok but nothing special.

Süßlicher, intensiv holziger Beginn. Würzig-herb, die Süße nimmt ab, geringfügig alkoholisch. Trocken hellholzig zum Ende, weich. 10/8/8/8/9/8
