Økologisk Thy Classic er en såkaldt Wiener øl. En lidt mørkere lagerøl med en rund og fyldig smag af frugt, karamel og ristet malt. En dejlig øl både til frokost og til varm mad.

clear brown, smooth offwhite head. starts off big but gets fluffy fast and goes away. aroma of caramel and metal , syrup. flavor is syrupy, faint hoppy, flowery hoppy, okay flavor but nothing out of the ordinary. re-rate 2020-9-11 bottle from thy sampling box. Amber with a offwhite slightly light brown head. Looks very very good, a bit darker than most vienna beers. Anyways - looks real damn good. 4 Aroma is very faint, mild lagerish note, mild malty note. 5 flavor is slightly sweet, slightly malty, quite fresh, faint gentle woody to roasted woody note and a bittering aftertaste that comes in gently and smoothly. I am much surprised by the elegancy of this one, for a vienna, it is subtle, smooth , well rounded and quite tasty. 7 overall 13. This is absolutely one of the better classic beers out there, much better than the larger macro ones. i am quite surprised. i have adjusted my rating to reflect this second rating.

Bottled. Clear dark amber, rich head. Buttery nose. Fairly sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Lightly caramelly with some sugar and hay. Low bitterness. More relaxed, tidy and flavourful than Thy Classic. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Thy Classic on 06 Jan 2010 at 08:35 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 3. Original review text: Bottled. Clear amber, rich head. Aroma of boiled vegetables. Dry and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Dusty style fruitiness with some old figs. Unpleasant dusty finish. Quite aggressive and not very likable.

Bottle picked in Denmark, September, 2008, consumed 29-10-08 Pours amber in colour with beige head. Taste reminds me of a Bass shandy that I had as a kid. Malty and sweet and a tad thin, it tinny, not that much to it.
