Black Bird is Bird's Golden Classic. It smells fresh and slightly acidic with hops, and it is also the hops that give the beer the distinctive taste - dry with a discreet hint of fruit. Dark Münchner malt is the main ingredient in Black Bird, which instead of "classic" can also be termed an under-fermented lager beer.

On tap somewhere in Sønderborg. Clear golden body with a lacing white head. Aroma is grain and malt, feels quite clean. Flavor is sweetish malt, grain and standard pils kind of hops. Medium body and aftertaste. A decent macro lager.

Clear dark golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of caramelized and strong grainy malt. Taste of caramelized malt, grains, honey, moderate spicy bitterness.

Clear amber. Aroma is light caramel, light herbs, bonbon. Taste is sweetish malt, mineral body, almost no hop bitterness. Nothing too special but also not horrible.

Amber with a tall, frothy head. Attractive enough, but after that it’s all downhill. Aroma promises stale grains and old, fermenting fruits. Taste is grainy bitter, rough and full of off-notes. The faint almost pleasant caramel note at the finish fails to break an overall unharmonious impression. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate watery texture. Lousy.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 11.04.17. Clear golden. White head. Slightly sweet aroma of pilsner hops and pilsner malt, with hints of wet grass, wet cardoard and boiled vegetables. Similar taste. A slight sourness in taste.
